A Prayer for Ukraine

Hello Bride of Christ,

I am dedicating this week's post to join together in prayer for the people of Ukraine. When two or more gather in Jesus' name He is in their midst. Holding on to this promise, I am asking you to read the following prayer and join me in crying out, to our Lord, that He may intercede on behalf of His people. This has nothing to do with politics or who is right or wrong. This has everything to do with the fact these are people that our loving God gave His one and only son for that they may have life and life more abundantly.

Will you join me and pray?

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."  ~ 2 Chronicles 7:14

Let Us Pray

Dear Lord,

We will lift up our eyes to the hills— From whence comes our help? Our help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.

We enter into your gates with thanksgiving! We praise You because You do not slumber, but instead You are our keeper! You shall preserve your people from all evil!

We praise You for being the lover of our souls and our dear friend. We praise you for sending us Your Holy Spirit, that we may call upon Your name and Your Holy Spirit would guide us into all truth!

We lift up the Ukrainian people. El Roi, the God who sees, we entrust them to You. You know what is going on, the spiritual battle. You are in control of all of these events. Help us to trust you. We believe You are working all these things to good for all those called according to Your purposes.

We believe, but please help our unbelief! As the bombs drop and people are shaken, rise up within them, Lord. Rise up within them and help them to have unshakeable faith and hope that You are working mightily on their behalf. Guide their every step and every decision. Help the Ukrainian people to acknowledge you in all their ways that you shall direct their steps. Rise up in Your Bride the Church!

Remind us of Your promises.

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

"These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

" Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." Psalm 23:4

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4: 6-7

"so shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: It shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." Isaiah 55:11

We lean on Your promises! We cry out God, turn it all around for Your Glory! We give it over to Your hands which are mighty and loving! In Your precious, powerful, name above all names, Jesus, we pray!

Until Next Time

Bride of Christ, please continue to pray, and when we see Him respond, regardless of the response, let us praise Him!
